Why feature Yuval Robichek and these specific artists?
Having admired his work for a long time now, Robichek's work has a subtlety and brilliance to it that I wanted to showcase in this magazine. He uses the complexity of human nature as his muse, and captures it simply. In a spiral of research I stumbled upon many other modern illustrators that deserve recognition in an era of pinterest-y aesthetic oversaturation and trend chasing.
The Future Scope:
ILLUSTRATED ZINES?
The Illustrated Mag has great potential to become a quarterly zine manufactured from the headquarters of 'Illustrated Co.' i.e. my desk 😉 This is a great chance to stay updated within the illustrator world and recognize new and ground-breaking art. I would love to one day distribute these zines and eventually turn it profitable. The future is bright, the future is well- illustrated (if I may say so myself!)
